About Us

Continuum Green Energy Limited (CGELI*) is an independent power producer with focus on supplying green power to commercial & industrial (“C&I”) consumers, in addition to state and central distribution utilities and power exchanges.

We are led by a management team with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and in-depth understanding of managing projects. The senior management team of our Company, led by Mr. Arvind Bansal (CEO) and Mr. Nandiwada Venkatesan Venkataramanan (COO), possess complementary skills and have extensive experience and knowledge of the electricity sector.

Continuum Green Energy Limited has a portfolio of approximately 7.6 GWp with projects comprising ~3.1 GWp operational, ~1.4 GWp under construction and ~3.1 GWp of under development.

We prioritize selling electricity to C&I consumers, which constitutes majority of our operational and under-construction capacity with more than 170 diversified, high credit quality C&I consumers. Our C&I consumers represent a diverse range of industries, no single industry accounts for more than 25.00% of our total contracted capacity with C&I consumers, helping to ensure a balanced portfolio.

Since we began operations, we have enjoyed support from multiple domestic banks/ financial institution and global institutional investors including State Bank of India (SBI),  Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC) , Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL), REC Limited (REC), ICICI Bank Limited, IndusInd Bank Limited, IDFC First Bank, HDFC Bank, Hero Fincorp, Kotak Mahindra Bank, RBL Bank, Orion Credit Capital Asia Pte. Ltd. and Pierfront Capital (since renamed as Keppel Credit Fund Management Pte. Ltd.), Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS), GIC Private Limited .

In addition to debt capital from above sources, our holding company, Continuum Green Energy Holdings Limited (CGEHL), has invested ₹11,728.05 million equity in our Company. Our Company also received ₹12,562.50 million & ₹6,176.25 million in primary equity investment from JC Infinity (B) Limited & JC Infinity (A) Limited, affiliates of the Just Climate LLP.

Further, in June 2024, 8 Subsidiaries of our Company jointly issued US$ 650 mn of 9 years Senior Secured Notes, listed on India INX & NSE IX. In July 2026, Gift city subsidiary of our hold co issued US$ 450 mn of notes in 5 year & 8 year tranches, listed on NSE IX.
